Bet it is :-) On its many beaches, you’ll find sand varying from white to black, depending on its closeness to volcanoes or coral reefs. In the Happy Planet Index countries score high when people live long and happy lives at low cost to the environment. While challenges remain, Costa Rica’s government appears dedicated to preserving the environment, including its precious sands.
