Local Sand Trivia
The creator Juok molded all people of sand and earth according to a creation myth of the Shilluk tribe in South Sudan. According to the legend the creator wandered around the world. In one part he found white sand and formed white people out of it, by the Nile he formed red or brown from sandy mud. Lastly he found rich black earth of which he created the Shilluk people. He added on useful body parts for all and sent them out into the world as perfect humans.
